Job Safety Analysis

A Job Safety Analysis is a regular WHS evaluation of a specific job to be completed. It is conducted in order to identify potential hazards involved with the job and document how the job can be performed safely.

A Job Safety Analysis is used to record specific conditions on the day that may affect how they will perform the job. Many work activities take place in working environments that are constantly changing.

If the conditions of a workplace change on a daily basis, safe operating procedures and safe work method statements may no be able to be developed.

A job safety analysis is a helpful tool to conduct a daily risk assessments and set out the method to be used on these occasions to control risks. It is completed prior to commencing any new job.
